I started teaching this week! My first class was on Edgar Allan Poe's biography and it was really interesting to see the fascination and curiosity the students had towards it. Edgar Allan Poe is such an interesting character that I knew the students would enjoy learning about him.
Today, I decided to start the class with a deconstructed quote by Poe himself. The students were given a card with a number and each card had a word. The students were to get organized according to their number and then they would read their word aloud in a chronological order.
It was a different way of integrating quotes in the classroom and I had a lot of fun conducting the activity.
This picture was taken while the students were working on some comprehension questions and I think " think" suits it perfectly.

You are such a creative teacher, Ms. García! You are an innate artist and teacher; congratulations! :D
