English Week

This week we celebrated English Week at the Juan Ponce de Leon School. It mainly consisted on having different activities for the students. From Language Arts to getting crafty, we did a lot of things this week. Here in the picture you can see some Origami Cranes the students made. I have to admit, I did try to make one but failed.  This activity was used to promote Cultural Diversity and a little bit of History. We also celebrate Tie Day and Hat day at the beginning and end of the week. It was fun to see all the different and goofy ties the students wore as well as the hats. The students were asked to make their own hats and of course they got very creative and you can also see this in the picture. All in all, it was a fun and very educational week.
